Fund Future Leaders and Community Organizers!
Community Voices is an intensive year-round employment program that enlists upwards of 20 high school students of color from across Boston, with most students hailing from Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, Hyde Park, and Jamaica Plain.
The program supports development of grassroots youth leadership with a focus on acquisition of skills in research, public policy advocacy, and community organizing; it focuses on low-income youth of color providing employment and academic skills development with social supports provided by college student mentors and health care professionals.
Young people are the backbone of the program; a donation will go directly towards funding student stipends. Stipends hold our young people accountable, they build their self-esteem and, earning an income is a necessity for many if not all. Please consider donating today!
